Poetry slam poem 1

Shadow Land

Sleepless shadows wandering inside an obscure mind
Unbreakable memories - picturesque, unbearable and blind
Immense as an ocean deriding desert’s lingering graves
Bringing home ostracized pieces of life’s newborn slaves
If fear is baptized its faith dwells among their blood
Their blood – wasted in search for an enhanced God

Sleepless shadows howling inside an insecure head
Unbearable memories - haunting what is already dead
No master is explaining the rules of God’s wretched game
While hatred drowning together with corpses of public shame
In the observer’s eyes a faded tear from a rigid core
A rigid core – informing them that God requests more

Sleepless shadows hiding inside a fragmentary brain
Unlocked memories – consumed intensely and praised in vain
Praying every instant between faceless rapture and littered cries
Confronting hell on solid ground underneath tormented skies
Desperate eyes seeking recklessly for an intact hand
An intact hand to hold in this obscure shadow land

Poetry slam poem 2

Where home is

Home is where golden souls reside
Where familiar feet leave their essential footprints
on land which is carrier of glorious pride

Home is where strong bonds survive
Where all golden souls attempt to endure as one,
heedful of the aim of staying alive

Home is where eternal dreams stay
Where a vision of marvelous accomplishments
will overcome any conceivable delay

Home is where a devoted heart remains
Where innocent spirits sleep under secure skies
without hesitations or complains

Home is where a dejected soul can cry
Where difficulties are surmounted together – at home
where freedom makes it less unbearable to die
